All the 2D drawings, schedules, and specifications normally required to communicate the project design, are produced directly from the single BIM model. The added benefits of BIM are being able, at any stage in the process, to query the data or model for design analysis, or provide rendered 3D images, shadow studies or animated walkthroughs, to promote a clearer understanding of the design for better decision making and collaboration.
