ARCDOX Talk about BIM at the CITA EIN Members Meeting
Ralph Montague, Architect and Partner at ARCDOX, had the privilege of making a presentation at the 8th members meeting of CITA EIN on the 23rd June 2010, held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8. The focus of the meeting was on BIM (Building Information Modelling), as a New Hope for the Construction Industry. Ralph’s presentation covered an Introduction to BIM, and highlighted why our Industry (construction Industry) need this. IPD (Integrated Project delivery) was also discussed, as the way BIM was going in the future, where BIM is used by all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ralph described how industry partners can work together to achieve max benefits offered by BIM, and ended with a challenge to members to learn to collaborate in better ways using BIM.
