Revit Architecture Essentials Course

REVIT ARCHITECTURE 2012 ESSENTIALS
Learn how to design a building information model (BIM) in Revit Architecture. Get started with the fundamental concepts of the product, including:

  • How Revit Architecture works.
  • An overview of the concepts and terms used in the product.
  • How to perform common tasks in the product.

The course is designed to follow the typical architectural workflow. You complete the following activities:

  • Establish a site and lay it out.
  • Add basic building elements, such as floors, walls, and roofs.
  • Add more detailed elements, such as stairs, rooms, and furniture.
  • Refine the building elements.
  • Create schedules, views, and sheets to document the project.
  • Prepare presentation views such as renderings and walkthroughs.

This course is intended for architects, architectural technicians, other construction professionals and project managers who want to have a better understanding of Building Information Modelling and how it can be implemented.

Topics covered in this course include Understanding the Basics, Starting a Project, Modelling a Project, Documenting a Project and Presenting a Project.
