BIM COORDINATION / QUANTIFICATION / TIMELINER

Navisworks is a powerful tool for all the disciplines in the construction industry. This powerful program allows professionals to manage 3D geometry combined with BIM data, creating accurate virtual models and enabling model review and clash detection. During this course, the attendee will learn how to manage models, construct a project timeline and run clash interference checks, which will outline possible problems, enabling a more streamlined BIM process.

Course Overview

The trainees will learn how to append and merge different file types, mark up and review the model, create clash model tests and project timelines, and render and animations. The course is delivered by our team of BIM specialists, who will explain the theory behind the tools and demonstrate them in real-world project scenarios. Dedicated exercises will help you understand and apply the skills required to manage BIM models.

Recommended experience level

No previous experience is required.

Course Format

This online course consists of multiple modules delivered over 10 hours of live instruction and time for self-directed learning.

• Delivery: Online via Microsoft Teams
• Schedule: 1 hour per day at 1:00 PM (Irish Time – GMT/IST)
• Duration: 10 days total
• Access: Participants require a free Microsoft Teams or Office 365 account

Each module includes a 1-hour live (online) session with the trainer, complemented by approximately 1 hour of self-paced learning

Note: In the event of a Bank Holiday, the course will be delivered over 9 days, maintaining the total of 10 hours of live (online) instruction. One day (TBC) will include a double session.
