Autodesk Revit has become the most used software in the construction industry. Dynamo is the next step in your learning path to becoming a BIM Expert. Use Dynamo to create scripts that automate repetitive tasks, explore complex design problems, and streamline BIM workflows in a Revit model. You can save hours of work by creating a script that meets your specific needs. Dynamo helps professionals in the AEC sector by automating the flow of data, creating solutions, and unlocking the potential of your designs.

Course Overview

The course will give the trainee the skills and knowledge to start creating their own visual programming scripts through Dynamo, how to create elements, place families, import info from Excel, export data into Excel, set parameter values, create geometry, how to use Dynamo Player and more. All the exercises used during the course are applicable to your own projects, so you will have around 20 scripts ready to use at the end of the course

Recommended experience level

• No previous experience is required, but some experience with Revit is recommended

Course Format

This online course consists of multiple modules delivered over 10 hours of live (online) instruction and time for self-directed learning.

• Delivery: Online via Microsoft Teams
• Schedule: 1 hour per day at 1:00 PM (Irish Time – GMT/IST)
• Duration: 10 days total
• Access: Participants require a free Microsoft Teams or Office 365 account

Each module includes a 1-hour live (online) session with the trainer, complemented by approximately 1 hour of self-paced learning, which involves:

• Watching session recordings
• Completing exercises and practical assignments

Note: In the event of a Bank Holiday, the course will be delivered over 9 days, maintaining the total of 10 hours of live (online)instruction. One day (TBC) will include a double session.
