DESIGN COMPLEX BUILDING SYSTEMS WITH CONFIDENCE
Revit helps engineers, designers, and contractors across the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines model to a high level of detail and easily coordinate with building project contributors. The trainee is introduced to the concepts of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the tools for parametric design, analysis, and documentation. The trainee will learn the fundamental features of Autodesk Revit MEP, learn to use the 3D parametric design tools for creating and analysing a project, and finish with construction documentation and design visualisation.
Course Overview
This course will cover an overview of Revit concepts, user interface, project set-up, designing with digital building components, producing drawing sheets, and detailing and documenting the project. The main objective is to teach the concepts of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and introduce the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit. This course will provide the trainee with a solid foundation in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk’s Revit Architecture. Throughout the course, the trainee will be shown how to create 3D architectural models, from schematic design through to construction documentation.
