Course Overview: The primary objective of this course is to teach delegates the concepts of Building Information Modelling and introduce the tools for parametric landscape architecture design and documentation using Revit. This course is for new Autodesk Revit users who want to learn essential elements of Autodesk Revit with a Landscape Design focus. Recommended experience level: No previous experience required. Modality: 10 Days course (1 hr/day), delivered online using Microsoft Teams. (Free Microsoft Teams or Office 365 Account Required) Material Training: eBook and Revit files are provided by us. Course/Module Breakdown: Day 1 – Revit in a Nutshell / Introduction to the principles of BIM Day 2 – UI Tour / Project Navigation and View Creation Day 3 – Element Selection and Manipulation / Visibility Control and Categorisation Day 4 – Model Development Methadology / Create a Terrain Model Day 5 – Working with Other Disciplines / Preparing the Plot Day 6 – Working with Slabs / Kerbs and Profiles Day 7 – Adding Site Components / Remodelling the Site Day 8 – Contextual Massing / Scheduling Elements Day 9 – Hatching Regions / 2D Draughting and Annotation Day 10 – Rendering / Introduction to the Principles of Family Editing
